Kc Doors

We hired this company for our new build and we were so disappointed. He did not follow through with his time line on when the doors would be delivered. When we first met Ernie he was professional and easy going and once he recieved our deposit he was rude, everything seemed like a bother to him and the professionalism was gone.

Ive used KC doors twice. The first I hired him to repair a garage door, it worked for a couple of days.I then called him back, because it was not functioning correctly. He said it was another problem and not part of original diagnostic. He charged me gas money, and I went with someone else to finish the repair. The second time I hired him to install 4 new garage doors on a new house and shop. He ordered the wrong color the first time, then the second time he said that his supplier ordered them wrong. I had to wait 3 months for garage doors, then when he gets to the jobsite to install, he tells me he will not install the doors until I pay him for the remaining balance. Ive been waiting for these doors for 3 months and I already paid him half down when he ordered the doors. Ive spent hundreds of money covering the openings myself. (Blue Tarps, Zip ties, Time) . I told him I would pay him after he completes the job that day. He refuses and says he will just take my half deposit down and take the doors If I dont pay him upfront, before completing the job. He strong arms me for the doors since Ive already paid half down 3 months ago. He installs the doors and I pay Him. Later I ask him if I will get the residential door openers for the home. He says that once I get done building the house, he will come back install the home owner opener's and make sure everything works well. I reach out to me he says the installation was complete and that to get new openers are 80.00 a piece, that I should just buy them myself. I work in construction I have never asked a customer to pay me 100% upfront before I complete the work. DO NOT USE KC DOORS.
