J.C. Bunting Tree Service

Josh and his crew were professional, courteous, reasonably priced and communicated well. I'm super pleased with the work they did in removing two huge dead walnut trees. Highly recommend if you need some tree work done!

Josh had done some quick work for my neighbors so I got his number from them. I called and asked him to come take a look at some dead trees that, should they fall the right direction, could take out my back fence. They were beyond the fence but still on my property. I told him there was no rush. I just wanted his insight on how long they may last in their standing positions. They had been there already for the 4 years I’ve lived here. I was worried about them hitting my fence but at the same time thought the “look” in my backyard was kinda cool. When he came by he took a look and we discussed leaving them or taking them down. He couldn’t say for sure how long they would last. Then he said “I can do it for you right now.” His parents were in the truck. I thought….what? now? He quoted me the price which I thought was fair considering what he did for my neighbor and them telling me the cost for what they had done. I said “sure!”. Fifteen minutes later, the four dead trees were down on the ground…ready to become food for mother nature’s creatures, and my worries about losing part of my fence in the next straight line wind storm faded. I don’t think I’ll have much more work for a tree guy in the future…but if I do, I’ll be calling Josh.

Very relatable and professional did a great job cleaning up.

Did a great job for us!

I can't thank Josh enough!!! He was here in less than an hour to clear my driveway and even helped me with my vehicle. He couldn't have been a nicer gentleman. I highly recommend and plan on using him in the future!!

J C Bunting tree service far exceeded my expectations! I called Mr. Bunting to come and quote cutting a VERY dead tree out of my front yard. He very promptly (on a Sunday) came out for free and gave me estimates for dropping the tree, leaving it cut up in the yard, removing it, grinding the stump Etc. He made it my choice exactly how much I wanted him to do, and gave me a price for each. His prices were VERY competitive. Communication was timely. I gave him the thumbs up on Wednesday morning to do the work, and he had it completed before noon the same day! I have another project coming up later this year and I will definitely be using J C Bunting Tree Service. Very professional, very friendly, very competitive, and very fast service. If I could give more than five stars I would.

He told me he would trim my trees up to 40 feet. He trimmed approx. 7 small branches off of a pine tree and 2 branches off of a tulip poplar. Neither was even 20 feet off the ground. He left a huge stub of a branch, that was hanging over my fence, that is a good 6 feet long and maybe 10 feet off the ground. He told me the stub would not grow out..it did and I’m having to pay someone else to cut it and the pine tree limbs that he should have taken care of. I kept the wood for the fireplace, he only had to get rid of one small trailer of the small branches…he spent at least half the time on the phone with his girlfriend and then she actually came here to have another long conversation. Believe me, this was NOT worth the $1000.00 he charged me!!

Josh is the best! He is very responsive, respectful, and does great work. He is our GO-TO guy for all our tree clean up needs.

Josh was great to work with and hauled off everything I needed on my property! I will definitely be using him again for any and ALL of my needs. Can’t say enough good things about his services and how quickly he was able to get it done.

Squeezed us in on short notice and did a great job. Very fair prices too!
