Marcos and team did a great job installing piers and fixing our foundation that had settled. We are selling the house and the potential buyers wanted assurance that the warranty was transferrable. My home is 60+ years old and sits at the bottom of a steep hill. Many gallons of rainwater coming off the hill over the years have affected the foundation such that sizeable cracks began appearing outside and inside the house. At the request of the general contractor who renovated my home, Marcos came to evaluate my situation. He explained engineering things to me in a way that I could understand, and that’s what I like about Foundation Specialties LLC: they approached my problem from an engineering perspective rather than a cosmetic one. The engineering not only stabilized the structure but also solved the cosmetics. The crew was courteous and took the time to answer my questions as I watched them work. They are highly skilled and knowledgeable, and I felt like my money was well spent and that my home is in good hands.

I contacted them because my crawlspace in my newer home has standing water after any rainfall. I explained the situation over the phone and their answer was to try everything else (possibly a landscaping company) before contacting them again. I appreciate they didn't just come out and try to price gauge me, however they weren't even willing to come out, and made it clear they were a business to make money and coming to my home before I tried everything else really wasn't beneficial for them.

The first time FS did foundation work for us was in the 1980s at a rental property. They did excellent work on that job. Over the last several decades, we asked FS to check multiple properties for settlement. Each time, they (usually Marcos) told us piers were not required and their advice proved correct. In late 2024, we had a foundation settling issue with one part of our home and FS recently completed the installation of piers. Again, their work was excellent. Our advice is call them if you think you have a problem. Marcos will look at your situation. He is an experienced foundation professional. We trust his advice and his price. And, we trust their work. Work crews are managed by Gabriel. With many years of installation experience, he met every commitment. Pier installation is hard labor and messy. Foundations Specialties did a great job for us. When I had a bad medical diagnosis, Marcos moved us up on the schedule. When Gabriel and his team arrived, they professionally went to work and fixed our settling problem in four days. Excellent service, great people, reasonable price, and exceptional quality and outstanding care for our property! I highly recommend them!

By far the most knowledgeable foundation specialist I found looking for help with my home. Marcos will work with you to get your issue resolved at a reasonable price. I strongly recommend at least reaching out, even if it’s not a good fit you will learn something and feel better.

I had cracks fixed close to garage and also a few in the back. Some in garage also. 7000$ in cost. Still if anyone parks in front of garage door when it rains… they will have soaked feet. Called for estimate for a grill to be put down.. that’s another $6000. I’m talking about about a small amount of concrete. I believe I could have had dirt delivered and concrete poured to fix my problem for less thann12000$. Also was not offered a grate and drainage before the initial $7000 I spent. I am not satisfied nor do I think I was offered all the options.
